Francesco Merlettini with Tommy Emmanuel at backstage in Cormòns - PART 1 Lesson on Those Who Wait

Hi everybody, I had the chance to meet Tommy Emmanuel in Cormòns (GO) - Italy, before his concert! We had a great time together playing one of his greatest songs, and one of my favourites, Those Who Wait. After that he explained to me something about the right position of the left hand in one particular passage of the song. He clearly explains the way that part should be played to get a sustain in sound letting each note ring. If you want you can check my cover of Those Who Wait and see the difference between the way I used to play that part (in the wrong way) and the right way shown by Tommy. Hope it could help everyone who wants to start learning this great song! Thanks a lot for watching Francesco Merlettini - Pacofdl
